Laminated board differs because while possessing all advantages of wood it does not have its drawbacks. One of the distinctive features that differs a laminated board from a continuous one is that it does not change the geometric form in the process of its exploitation as it is made of evenly dried raw material. Since a laminated board is made of thin boards, it possesses very low relative humidity. Therefore there is no inner pressure in a laminated board. At the same time a laminated board remains an environmentally friendly material with good heat regulation, t.i. it keeps all advantages of continuous wood.
Laminated board has greater, in comparison to the continuous board, durability and rigidity. Laminated board has less thermal conductivity and mass. It does not crack and practically is not subject to contraction. And there are reasons for that. The matter is that while producing a laminated board from wood, all natural defects such as knots, pitch blisters, rot, etc. are removed. Timber is gathered according to colour and a wood texture. Products from a laminated wood look faultlessly visually and do not demand additional expenses for a finished decoration.
